Ambre Cardinal trained in Jewelry and Metalwork at the Royal College of Art (London). It is between Paris and Tokyo that she builds her poetic universe combining sensual purity and spiritual strength. Her African roots and numerous travels around the world led her to invent a universal body language, through jewelry and moving sculptures that she shapes by hand, like a projection of a dancing or meditating body.
Her work questions our perception of the body and the being in space, in multiple cultures.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Ambre Cardinal reveals the sensitivity of the material she is working with by creating object that resonate and animate images through various media.
Her work is exhibited all over the world, notably in Japan, China, Canada, Senegal, and France.
“The body is the place for the soul where the spirit comes to make its scales”
